I think by now we get it - if you've been a landlord for a little bit you've dealt with nightmare tenants and it can feel like you're a slave to them.

I remember when we first started speaking to Ajay, he felt like his tenants were enjoying all the hard work he had put in to the house and he was working hard to make his monthly payments without getting any commitment from the people who's head he was putting rooves over. On top that, sadly, the way the UK legislation system is set up - they don't need to be responsible for their mess.

He had tried rent to rent or service accommodation but found it unreliable - luckily one of our team met him at a dinner and he must have been really unhappy because he shared his pains as a landlord and we agreed to meet him for a coffee to have an in-depth conversation about whether our model would work for him and because of the consistent rental income with no management or maintenance impacting his bottom line at all he said it was a no brainer for him it's a no-brainer - especially as it was backed by the council.

A lot of agents aren't doing what aren't working with companies like Square Development Group, which is a bit weird for me, because it's basically a no-brainer deal

They are going from unaware to problem aware

Acknowledge the biggest pain they are experiencing, then paint a picture of what they want to be experiencing instead, then shed light on why they are feeling their pain and name the problem.
